Multidirectional Forklift
MIMA multidirectional forklifts are designed for long, bulky or difficult-to-manoeuvre loads. Depending on the model, they can move loads forwards and backwards as well as sideways or in several travel directions. This is particularly useful when long loads need to be transported safely through narrow warehouse and production areas.
This category includes MIMA series such as MQK, MQC, MQ, MQZ and 1MQK. The models differ in rated capacity, operator position, counterweight concept and application profile. This allows solutions for profiles, panels, timber, metal, pipes and other long materials.
In logistics, production and industry, multidirectional forklifts reduce unnecessary manoeuvring and improve material flow for long loads. They support more effective use of existing storage areas because long loads can be moved through narrow routes with greater control. This is especially relevant for operations with mixed material flows and limited space.
Load length, rated capacity, travel routes, floor conditions and warehouse layout are key factors when selecting the right truck. It is also important to clarify early whether the main requirement is long-load handling or changing load types. This provides the basis for identifying the MIMA multidirectional series that fits the specific application.
