3. Collection and processing of your personal data (data processing)
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), data processing means the following: any process carried out with or without the aid of an automated process, as well as any series of activities related to personal data, such as collecting, recording, organizing, storing, adapting or changing. But also querying, reading, using, disclosing through transmission, distribution or another form of provision, comparison or linking, restriction, deletion or destruction (Art. 4 No. 2 GDPR).
3.1 When you visit our website, certain information about the browser and operating system, date and time of the visit, and access status are stored. This also includes which functions of the website you used, how often you accessed individual content, which file was accessed and the amount of data that was transferred. Websites from which you may have accessed our homepage, as well as websites that you access from our site, are also part of the stored content. It is important for security, as well as to prevent and detect attacks on our homepage, to save the IP address and the name of your Internet service provider. We do this for seven days.
3.2 We only store further personal data if you inform us and allow us to do so. This applies, for example, to registration, the contact form, a survey, a competition or in the case of a contract. But even in these cases only after you have given your consent and in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
3.3 Your personal data can be deleted at your request (see also 6. Your rights). There is also neither a contractual nor a legal obligation to provide us with your personal data. However, some functions on our website are dependent on the provision of personal data. If you do not want to provide us with personal data in this context, certain functions cannot be used or cannot be used completely.
3.4 Place of data processing
Your personal data will only be processed within the European Union.
4. Personal Information
We only use personal data that you have provided to us, such as your name, address, date of birth and telephone number, for the purposes for which you have provided this data to us, e.g. B. to answer your inquiries, to process contracts concluded with you and for technical administration. Your personal data will only be transmitted to third parties if it is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract. For example, passing on order data to suppliers will require this. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for billing and processing purposes or if you have given your prior consent.
Your personal data transmitted to us will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. Excepted from this are cases in which we are obliged to release the data due to mandatory legal regulations, e.g. for the purposes of criminal prosecution, to fulfill the statutory tasks of the constitutional protection authorities or to avert danger. This only upon order of the responsible authorities. You can revoke any consent you have given with future effect at any time. The stored personal data will then be deleted if you revoke your consent to storage, if knowledge of this data is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.
Data will not be transferred to third countries.
4.1. Protection of your personal data
We use SSL encryption on our website when it comes to transmitting confidential or personal content from our users. SSL encryption is activated, for example, when processing payment transactions and for inquiries that you make to us via our website. Please make sure that SSL encryption is activated on your part when carrying out such activities.
The use of SSL encryption is easy to recognize: the display in your browser changes from http:// to https://. Only send your confidential information with secure, activated SSL encryption and if in doubt, contact us.
We must point out that data transmission over the Internet cannot be completely protected from access by third parties and may have security gaps. We, the Forklift Center Germany, hereby object to any commercial use and disclosure of your data.
We assume no liability for external links that lead to third-party content, despite careful checking.
The contact details in our legal notice are not desired for commercial advertising unless written consent has been given beforehand.

- The recipient of the data is our web hosting provider. There is no transfer of data to third countries. The basis for data processing is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures.

8. Data protection for applications and the application process
